This powerful laser printer precisely cuts, engraves, and scores hundreds of materials including wood, acrylic, leather, cardstock - even chocolate.
It can safely print on any laser-compatible material, including wood, acrylic, leather, veneer, paper, cardboard, delrin, mylar, rubber, cork, sandpaper, food and hundreds more.
Glowforge recommends using Aura-compatible Proofgrade materials for smart settings and perfect results. Proofgrade materials are specially sourced and lab-tested for creating prints safely at home.
Most Proofgrade materials work beautifully with your Glowforge Aura, but we recommend against using Draftboard, medium plywood, and clear, white, and blue acrylic. All other acrylic colors, and both Light and Thick plywoods, will work wonderfully.
CAUTION: Laser cutting vinyl will immediately destroy your laser. As an alternative, try our Eco Iron-On material.
